Gary Hyzer – Gary has spent his entire professional career working in health and human services. He has managed consulting projects with federal, state, and local government agencies and has volunteered with several child and family services non-profits in the DC area. He has subject matter expertise in many HHS domains, and has expert-level skills in functional areas such as system analysis & planning, BPR, requirements development, and implementing and training. His business development acumen is proven through the more than $1.5B in total contracted wins on behalf of clients ranging from small startups to some of the largest federal IT contracts. He previously managed large state and local HHS bids for CGI’s HHS practice, and also worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Trish Thorne – Trish runs Hyzer Group’s projects in the areas of organizational development, change management, coaching, and performance management. With more than 20 years of experience, Trish has partnered with organizations of all sizes develop creative and practical solutions to complex organizational challenges. She has led large-scale projects with corporations such as Coca-Cola, Cox Media, and Amazon, in areas ranging from process improvement to learning solution design to corporate HR strategy development. Trish earned her BS from Indiana University and her MBA from Auburn University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Society of Training and Development, and holds a PHR and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
